The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu will announce the results of the Tamil Nadu HSC or Class 12 exams 2021 on Monday, July 19, 2021, on its official website. The results will be out at 11 am. Once the results are declared, students who have registered for the TN HSC Exam 2021 will be able to check their results online at dge.tn.gov.in.

This year, the directorate had canceled the Tamil Nadu HSC or class 12 board examination in view of the surge in the covid-19 cases across the country. This year, the final marks for Class 12 will be based on the proportion of 50:30:20. As per the criterion, 50% weightage will be given to Class 10, weightage of 20% will be added to Class 11, and 30% weightage will be given to Class 12 practical and internal assessment.
The evaluation criteria are as follows:
- 50% of the marks would be calculated based on the average of highest marks obtained in three subjects in Class 10 final exams.
- 30% would be assessed on the marks obtained in practical internal exams.
- 20% would be on the basis of marks obtained in Class 11 final exams.
The students who failed in Class 11 will be given 35 percent marks.
