Kolkata: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) on Tuesday announced the West bengal Madhyamik Result 2021 through a press conference at 9.00 am. Class 10 students can check their results from 10 Am onwards on its official website - wbresults.nic.in.
More than 11 lakh candidates were supposed to write the exam that got cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Hence, class 10 board results are based on students’ school performance in classes IX and X. Equal weightage of 50 percent has been given to both. According to the formula, the student's performance in the class 9 annual examination and the internal assessment in class 10 for every subject will be taken into consideration.
This year, 100 per cent students have passed West Bengal Madhyamik examination. The highest score recorded in the West Bengal 10th result 2021 is 697/700. As many as 79 candidates have got highest score. Last year, the passing percentage of WB Madhyamik result recorded at 86.34%.
As the exams were cancelled due to Covid-19, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has not issued any merit list this year.
The Board is organising Camp Offices which begin on July 20, 2021 (Tuesday) at 10 am for collection of Admit Cards, Marksheet and Certificates of Madhyamik Pariksha (SE), 2021. Schools will collect mark sheets from 49 allotted centres from 10 am onwards.
It should be noted that the students cannot come to school to collect mark sheets. They will have to send parents/guardians to collect the mark sheets.
