Karnataka SSC Results 2023 have been declared by the State Education Minister BC Nagesh.
Four students in Karnataka have achieved a perfect score of 625 out of 625 in the SSLC board exams this year. The students are Bhoomika Pai from New Mecaulay English High School in Bengaluru, Yashas Gowda from Sree BGS School in Chikkaballapura, Anupama Shrishail H from Sri Kumareshwar English Medium High School in Belagavi, and Bhimangowda Patil from Oxford English Medium High School in Vijayapura.
The KSEAB SSLC Board exams 2023 were conducted in 3622 aided schools and 6038 unaided schools in Karnataka. Among the 2,05,291 students who appeared from aided schools, 1,75,974 (85.64 percent) have passed the exam, while 2,25,533 (90.89 percent) out of 2,48,130 students from unaided schools have cleared the exam.
Out of the 333,223 students who appeared for the Karnataka Class 10 board exams 2023, 289,035 students or 86.74 percent were able to successfully clear the exams.
The Karnataka Class 10th board exam 2023 witnessed a drop in overall pass percentage from 85.13 percent last year to 83.89 percent this year.
According to the Karnataka SSLC Result 2023, girls have outperformed boys. 87.87 percent or 3,59,511 girls have cleared the KSEEB 10th exam, while 80.08 percent or 3,41,108 boys have passed the Karnataka 10th board exam 2023.

91-100 Marks = A+ grade

Once declared, students can check their result at the official website – sslc.karnataka.gov.in. To check the result, students will need to enter their email id, registration number, and name.
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) recently announced an increase in the pay for teachers involved in the evaluation of SSLC examination answer scripts. As per TOI, The joint chief evaluator's pay was raised from Rs 7,270 to Rs 7,634, and the deputy chief evaluator's pay increased from Rs 5,464 to Rs 5,737. The evaluation fee for answer sheets was increased to Rs 24 for the first language, Rs 22 for the second language, and Rs 22 for optional subjects.
The daily allowance for evaluators was increased to Rs 626 in Bengaluru and Rs 492 in other places, while the local allowance was increased to Rs 246 in Bengaluru and Rs 198 in other places. The camp custodian allowance was raised from Rs 4,515 to Rs 4,741, and the sample assistants' pay was hiked to Rs 1,323.
Over 8 lakh candidates have appeared for the Karnataka SSLC examination this year.
The Karnataka SSLC Class 10 exams for the year 2023 took place from March 31 to April 15, with a single shift starting at 10:30 am and ending at 1:30 pm. Students were provided with 15 minutes to go through the question paper before the start of the examination. The marks allotted for the first language paper were 100, while for the remaining papers it was 80.

In the previous year, the Karnataka Class 10 SSLC result was announced on May 19, and the overall pass percentage was recorded at 85.63 percent. Out of the total candidates who appeared, 81.3 percent of boys successfully passed the exam, and the pass percentage among girls was recorded at 90.29 percent.
In the previous year's Karnataka Class 10 exams, a total of 7,30,881 students successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 85.35 percent. Out of 4,41,099 male candidates who appeared for the exams, 3,58,602 passed, while out of 4,12,334 female candidates, 3,72,279 passed the exams.

Last year, the number of students who registered for the Class 10 SSLC examination in 2022 was over 8.73 lakh, with over 20,000 students being absent. The overall pass percentage was 85.63, with girls outperforming boys with a pass percentage of 92.44 compared to 86.34 percent for boys. A total of 8.73 lakh candidates appeared, and 85.63 percent of them successfully passed. Among the passed students, 1.18 lakh received A+ grades, while 1.82 lakh received A grades.
