JEE Advanced Result 2022: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) on Sunday, September 11 announced the result for Joint Entrance Examination 2022. The JEE Advanced Result 2022 was announced at 10 am today. Candidates can check the JEE Advanced Result 2022 at the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates will require their roll numbers, date of birth, and mobile number to access the JEE Advanced result 2022. 


As per the officials, RK Shishir from Bombay zone has topped the JEE Advanced exam, reported news agency PTI. 


Candidates who cleared the JEE Advanced 2022 will be able to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) counselling process which is slated to be held on September 12. The candidates will have the option to freeze, float, and slide to confirm their seat allotment.  










Over 1.5 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam and over 40,000 have qualified.


"The aggregate marks are calculated as a sum of the marks obtained in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Candidates have to satisfy the subject-wise as well as aggregate qualifying marks to be included in the rank list," a senior IIT Bombay official said.


JEE-Main, which is the admission test for engineering colleges across the country, is the qualifying exam for JEE-Advanced

  2. Hover over to JEE Advanced 2022 Result link. 

  3. Provide login credentials, your JEE Advanced registeration number and date of birth. 

  4. Submit the details. 

  5. Download JEE Advanced 2022 scorecard. Take a prinout of the same for future reference. 


JEE Advanced Result 2022: Toppers 


RK Shishir topped the Common Rank List obtaining 314 marks out of 360 marks. Tanihska Kabra from IIT Delhi ranked number among female students with CRL 16, scoring 277 marks out of 360, reported the news agency.


Category-wise, Vangapalli Sai Siddhartha from IIT Madras topped in Other Backward Class-Non Creamy Layer, Polisetty Karthikeya from IIT Madras in General-Economically Weaker Section, Dayyala John Joseph from IIT Madras in Scheduled Caste, Lovesh Mahar from IIT Delhi in Scheduled Tribe, Ojas Maheshwari from IIT Bombay in General-Person with Disability, Gaikoti Vignesh from IIT Madras in General-EWS-PwD, Omkar Ramesh Shirpure from IIT Bombay in OBC-NCL-PwD, Prakash S Rathod from IIT Bombay in SC-PwD and Tadar Simi from IIT Guwahati ranked number one in ST-PwD category, reported NDTV.
