New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday said that results for classes 10th and 12th will be declared in the last week of July as per the schedule, reported news agency ANI. A senior official of CBSE told the news agency that "CBSE class 10 and 12 results are likely to be declared in the last week of July as per the schedule fixed by the Board and there is no delay in Board results."

In comparison to the last two years, CBSE, this year is going to declare results early despite COVID 19 impact because the examinations were started late and conducted for more than 50 days, the official said further, quoted by the news agency.

Regarding rumours about the date of result declaration, the official said that the students should not pay heed to such rumours. For subsequent admission to undergraduate courses in universities and colleges after declaration of results, the official told the news agency that all organisations will align their admission schedule based on the CBSE result.

He further said that the CBSE is in touch with the responsible organisations for the admissions.

More than 34 lakh students appeared for CBSE Board exam for classes 10th and 12th this year from India and abroad. This is a special year because the Board conducted examinations in two terms.

The CBSE Board launched a portal called 'Pariksha Sangam' ahead of the result to streamline board examination results, sample papers, and other details in a single window.

The portal consists of three parts which includes Schools (Ganga), Regional Offices (Yamuna), and Head Office (Saraswati).  The newly launched portal "will integrate various examination-related processes to be conducted by the school’s regional offices and the Headquarters of the CBSE Board," according to cbsedigitaleducation.com.

Students can check their result on CBSE’s official website at cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in
