The CBSE released the Class 12 results on Friday. CBSE Class 12 recorded a pass percentage of 87.33 percent, a dip of 5.38 percent as compared to the last year. Officials said the board has decided to do away with the practice of awarding first, second and third division to students based on their scores.

“No merit list will be declared by CBSE to avoid unhealthy competition among students. However, the board will issue merit certificates to 0.1 percent students who have scored the highest marks in various subjects,” a senior board official said.
The overall pass percentage for students who appeared in the CBSE Class XII Board exams in 2023 is 87.33%. This pass percentage is 5.38% lower than the overall pass percentage of the previous year. The pass percentage of girl candidates in the CBSE Class 12 board exam is 90.68%, which is higher than the pass percentage of boys, which is 84.67%. However, the pass percentage of transgender students is 60%.
A total of 1,12,838 students have scored 90% or more marks in the CBSE Class 12 board exam 2023. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) have emerged as the best-performing schools in the CBSE Class XII Board exams, with a pass percentage of 97.51%. The board said that a total of 1,25,705 Class 12 students have been placed in the compartment category.

After the declaration of CBSE 12th result 2023, students are eagerly waiting for class 10 results. CBSE 10th Result 2023 is expected to be released anytime soon. Some reports are claiming that CBSE class 10 result will be announced tomorrow. However, there is no official confirmation on the date and time from the Board yet. Students are advised to keep checking the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in for the latest and authentic update.
