CBSE Board Results 2023: Class 10,12 Results To Be Released ‘Shortly’ On cbse.gov.in

The CBSE in a recent circular has stated the CBSE Board Results 2023 are about to be announced shortly. Once released, candidates will be able to check their board results on cbse.gov.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the CBSE 10th, 12th Board Results soon. While the CBSE has not yet notified the date and time of the release of Board Results 2023, the board did hint at a sooner announcement of results through a recent notice. In its recent circular on guiding schools on how to download 6-digit security pins for their student-wise DigiLocker accounts, the board said that the CBSE Board Results 2023 will be declared ‘shortly.’ 

“In order to further strengthen security & privacy of students' data, last year CBSE introduced a 6-digit Security PIN based activation for students' DigiLocker accounts. After activation of DigiLocker accounts, students can access their Digital Academic Documents under the 'Issued Documents' section. The results of Board Exam-2023 will be declared shortly. The student wise Security PIN file is being made available to Schools in their DigiLocker accounts from where schools can download and disseminate Security PIN to individual students,” reads the official notice on CBSE website. 

Once the CBSE announces the CBSE Class 10, Class 12 Results 2023, candidates will be able to check and download their results from the official website - cbse.gov.in. Students will also be able to check their CBSE Results 2023 on results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, digilocker.gov.in, news.abplive.com. Once released, candidates will be able to check their results using their roll numbers on the aforementioned websites. 

Compared the the CBSE Board Result announcement in July last year, the CBSE is likely to release the board results earlier this year. Noteworthy is the fact that the CBSE Board exams were conducted in two phases last year owing to fresh COVID-19 waves. However, this wasn’t the case this year and the CBSE Board 10th, 12th Exams 2023 were conducted in a single phase. 

Candidates must also note that to rule out unhealthy competition among students, the CBSE will not release the name of CBSE Board 10th, 12th toppers this year. However, the board will announce the merit list of 0.1% of students who secure the highest marks in individual subjects. 

Importantly, students are also advised to not fall into fake notices doing rounds on social media around the CBSE Board Result 2023 announcement. On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, a circular claiming that the CBSE will declare the board results today, May 11, 2023, went viral on social media. Later, the CBSE cautioned students that the circular is fake and students should refrain from paying heed to any such unofficial notices in the future. 

Earlier this year, the CBSE conducted the CBSE Board 10th, 12th Exams 2023 from February 14 to April 5. Over 38 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Board Exams 2023 who are now awaiting their results.
