The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE released the CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2024 today, May 13, 2024. After the announcement of the CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2024, Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal congratulated the students, teachers, parents and the entire Education Dept for this spectacular performance. Students of class 12 can easily check their results by submitting roll numbers on the official website at cbseresults.nic.in.
"Delhi government schools have got a fantastic result of 96.99%, in the Class 12 CBSE exam! Not only does this surpass our own performance of last year, but it surpasses the CBSE national average as well," said CM Kejriwal in a post on X.
However, the data shared by CBSE is different. According to the CBSE, in Delhi government schools, 1,60,733 students appeared for the exam, and 1,54,006 resulted in a pass percentage of 95.81%.
Meanwhile, the overall pass percentage for the CBSE class 12th examinations 2024 stands at 87.98%. A total of 16,21,224 students appeared for the examination out of which 14,26,420 students passed the exam. This year, there is a minor increase in the pass percentage of 0.65% compared to last year's pass percentage of 87.33%. Girls have outperformed boys by 6.40%.
Delhi Schools Overall Performance
In the CBSE 12th examination 2024 pass percentage for East Delhi stood at 94.51%, while West Delhi secured 95.64%. This year, East Delhi girls have outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 96.34%, while boys' pass percentage stood at 92.61%. In West Delhi the overall pass percentage for girls is 97.03%, while for boys it is 94.29%.
