The Indian Air Force, IAF, has announced the AFCAT 1 2024 results today, March 8, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the AFCAT exam were eagerly waiting for the AFCAT results. Candidates must log in with their registration number and date of birth to download the AFCAT 2024 results from the official website at afcat.cdac.in. AFCAT recruitment drive aims to fill 317 vacancies in the department. The AFCAT 2024 exam was conducted on February 16, 17, and 18, 2024, at various exam centers nationwide.


In the official notifications, the officials stated, ‘AFCAT 01/2024 results has been declared and is available for viewing through individual login’. The AFCAT 2024 examination was conducted in two shifts, from 10 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm.


The AFCAT examination lasted for 2 hours. It consisted of 100 Objective Type Questions, each carrying three marks. However, one mark was deducted for every incorrect answer according to the marking scheme.

Candidates who pass the AFCAT exam will receive a monthly stipend of INR 56,100 during their training month. Candidates who become officers in the flying branch will receive a salary of INR 85,372 monthly. For candidates on ground duty, the monthly salary will be INR 71,872.


AFCAT examination is conducted twice a year serves as a gateway for aspirants to join the prestigious Indian Air Force as commissioned officers in various branches, including Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical). Candidates who have cleared the AFCAT examination will now proceed to the next stage of the selection process, which includes further evaluation and interviews.
