Jaipur: Rajasthan Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel on Monday assured that the state government would make a fair decision regarding the Police Sub Inspector (SI) Examination-2021, keeping the candidates' interests in mind, as reported by news agency PTI.

Patel stated that the first meeting of the Cabinet committee, formed to review the recruitment exam, took place on Monday, where discussions on the actions taken so far were held.

He promised that in the upcoming committee meeting on October 10, a recommendation would be submitted to the government after thorough discussions, based on a complete investigation.

The minister highlighted issues such as paper leaks, the influence of the copy mafia, dummy candidates, jobs obtained through unfair means, and the involvement of members from the State Public Service Commission, all of which have damaged the credibility of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC).

He added that discrepancies were found in almost every examination during the previous government’s tenure.
