NTSE Stage 2 Examination 2021: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has deferred the NTSE Stage 2 Exam 2021. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the surge in the covid-19 cases across the nation and a notice regarding this has been uploaded on the official website of NCERT at ncert.nic.in.


The NCERT had schedule to conduct the National Talent Search Examination Stage-II examination on June 13, 2021, which has now been postpopned.


"Due to prevailing situation of COVID-19 in the Country and the enforced lockdown in differentStates/UTs, it is decided to postpone the NTSE stage –II exam which was scheduled to be held on 13th June, 2021," reads the official notice.


The fresh schedule for the NTSE Stage 2 examination will be announced only after the conditions become conducive to conduct the NTSE stage 2 examination. "The new date for the NTSE Stage-II Examination will be updated through NCERT website after the situation normalizes in the Country and is conducive for the conduct of the NTSE Stage – II examination," further reads the notice. 


Earlier the NTSE Stage 2 examination was re-scheduled from February 7 to February 14, 2021. The council had conducted the NTSE-stage 1 examination on December 13, 2021. Candidates who have cleared the NTSE Stage I examination are eligible to appear for the NTSE Stage II examination.


Earlier today, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has also postponed the UPSC civil services preliminary examination 2021 due to the surge in the covid-19 cases across the country. The civil services preliminary examination will be held on October 10, 2021, in lieu on May 27, 2021.
