The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) has started the application process for the NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) 2024. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam can submit their registration cum application forms for the exam on the official website - nerist.ac.in. The last date to apply for the exam is March 26, 2024. Candidates may further note that the NEE 2024 Application Fee is Rs 1,500 + payment gateway charges for General, OBC, and EWS candidates while the application fee for SC, ST, PwD candidates is Rs 1,000 + payment gateway charges.
Notably, the NERIST conducts the NEE Exam for three different streams and the exams are respectively named NEE 1, NEE 2, and NEE 3. While the NEE 1 is conducted to shortlist suitable candidates for admission into certificate programmes, the NEE 2 is held for admissions into B.Tech and B.Sc (Hons) in Forestry, while the NEE 3 is held for admissions into lateral entry B.Tech programmes at the institute.
Candidates may note the NERIST is inviting applications for NEE 1, NEE 2, and NEE 3 together, and candidates can apply for the respective NEE entrance exam based on their preferred course level. As per the official schedule, the NERIST will conduct the NEE 2024 Exam on April 21, 2024, while candidates will be able to download their admit cards for the exam from April 6 onwards.
