New Delhi: The registration for All India Quota (AIQ) Round 1 National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling will start on Wednesday. Those who have qualified in the NEET UG 2021 can apply at mcc.nic.in


NEET UG Counselling 2021 is being conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The counselling dates for the NEET 2021 are available on the official website mcc.nic.in


MCC is the one responsible for conducting NEET UG counselling for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing seats under the AIQ and seats at central and deemed universities, Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Armed Force Medical Services (AFMS) and at AIIMS and JIPMER seats.


MCC NEET UG counselling will be organised in four rounds instead of the earlier two rounds comprising of AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.

The registration window for NEET UG counselling round 1 will close on January 24 at 12 noon. After NEET UG AIQ round 1 registration, candidates will have to fill in choices between January 20 and January 24.


The institutes will conduct the verification of the seat matrix between January 25 and January 26, while the round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on January 29.


Registration for round 2 will take place from February 9 to 14 and for the mop-up round from March 2 to 7.


Once the registration gets completed, candidates will have to select and confirm the colleges from the list of available options. The verification of candidates and seat allotment will be held accordingly.

Know documents required to apply online


In order to apply for the counselling, students will need NEET UG 2021 Admit Card, Result proof such as scorecard/rank card, Class 12 passing certificate and mark sheet, Class 10 passing certificate and mark sheet which would also be used to verify the Date of Birth.


Apart from this, you will also need a character certificate and transfer certificate also issued by a recently attended school or college.


Aadhar Card/PAN Card or any other valid photo Id proof and category/caste certificate, if applicable along with 8-10 recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant. 


How can students apply for MCC NEET 2021 counselling?


The counselling session for NEET UG 2021 will be held in online mode. It will require candidates to register and fill the choice of courses and colleges according to the timeline.


Steps To Follow:



  • Firstly, visit mcc.nic.in after the counselling commences.

  • Then click on the "new registration" tab.

  • Type in details including roll number, registration number, name, mother’s name, and date of birth as printed on their NEET 2021 scorecard.

  • Next, pay the fee of NEET 2021 counselling online through a Credit/Debit card or Internet banking.

  • Then select the course and give preferences to the college/institute.

  • After entering the choices, you need to lock the choice before the mentioned date.
