NEET UG 2024 Counselling: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has started the registration for the second round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024 today, September 5. The last date to register for MCC NEET UG counseling 2024 is September 10. Candidates can apply online on the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in. Candidates applying for the first time in round 2 must pay the registration fee and select colleges and courses again.


However, those who registered in the first round of MBBS and BDS counselling but either did not secure a seat or failed to report to their allotted seat are not required to register again.






According to the schedule, the choice filling and locking facility will begin on September 6 and will end on September 10, 2024. NEET UG 2024 seat allotment results will be declared on September 13, 2024. Candidates who are allotted seats must report to their designated medical institutes and colleges between September 14 and September 20, 2024.











The verification of data for candidates who have joined will be conducted by the institutes, and the sharing of this data with the MCC will take place from September 21 to September 22, 2024.













Steps To Apply For MCC NEET UG 2024 Round 2 Counselling


Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.


Step 2: On the homepage, click on the 'UG Medical' tab.


Step 3: Now click on 'New registration'.


Step 4: Enter the required details, upload documents and pay the application fee.


Step 5: Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

Candidates must carry both original documents and photocopies for institute reporting or document verification rounds. The necessary documents include:



  • NEET admit card 2024

  • NEET 2024 scorecard

  • Class 10 marksheet and certificate

  • Class 12 marksheet and certificate

  • Photo ID proof

  • Six to eight passport-sized photographs

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

  • Disability certificate (if applicable)

  • Provisional allotment letter 


MCC will conduct four rounds of counselling: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Online Stray Vacancy Round.
