The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the choice-filling process for the first round of NEET UG counselling 2023 for the all-India quota today. Candidates who have completed their registration for the counselling process can proceed to fill their choices by accessing the UG Medical counselling portal on mcc.nic.in. According to the schedule, candidates can fill their choices until 11:55 pm on July 26. The option to lock these choices will be available from 3 pm to 11:55 pm on the same day, July 26. The online registration process commenced on July 20 and will conclude on July 25 at 12 pm. The counselling fee can be paid until 8 pm on the same day, July 25.


The seat allotment result for the first round of MCC NEET counselling will be declared on July 29. Candidates who are selected in the first round must upload their documents on the MCC portal on July 30 and report/join the allotted institution between July 31 and August 4.


The second round of NEET UG counselling will begin in August, and only those who have participated in the first round will be eligible to register from August 9 onwards.


Students can fill as many NEET UG 2023 choices as they wish. "However, choices should be in order of candidates’ preference. There will be common software for AIQ, deemed, central universities, BSc nursing, AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU, BHU for filling up choices,” the MCC said.

MCC UG NEET Counselling 2023: How To Fill Choices?


Candidates can fill the choices by following the below steps:


Step 1: Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee - mcc.nic.in


Step 2: On the NEET UG 2023 registration link, log in with the NEET UG Roll number and password.


Step 3: Fill in the choices of subjects and institutions in the order of preference on the next window.


Step 4: Lock the choices and submit.
