NEET UG 2021 Date: Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday announced the schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-Undergraduate) 2021. The minister shared this information through his official Twitter handle. According to the schedule, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the NEET UG 2021 examination on September 12, 2021, at various centres spread across the country. 


"The NEET (UG) 2021 will be held on 12th September 2021 across the country following COVID-19 protocols. The application process will begin from 5 pm tomorrow through the NTA website(s)," the minister tweeted.



The NTA will begin the online registration process for the NEET UG 2021 examination on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 5 pm. Once the registration process begins, interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the NEET UG 2021 examination online at ntaneet.nic.in. 


"In order to ensure social distancing norms, the number of cities where the examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198. The number of examination centers will also be increased from the 3862 centers used in 2020," he further tweeted. 


In wake of the covid-19 pandemic, candidates will be provided with face masks at the examination center. "Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation, seating with social distancing etc. will also be ensured," he further added. 


The agency conducts the NEET UG 2021 examination for admission to various MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS Courses at various institutes spread across the country.
