NEET Result 2020 Today LIVE Updates: The NEET 2020 Results will now be declared on October 16, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said in a tweet after SC direction of conducting a retest for those who could not appear in the September 13 exam. As per the latest update, Supreme Court has allowed NEET exam to be conducted on October 14 for students who could not appear for it due to COVID-19 infection or because of residing in containment zones; results on October 16. The scorecard and cut off will be declared at the official website after which the students can visit ntaneet.nic.in and get their scores. The results of the much waited NEET 2020 exam will not be declared today, against the expectations. The Supreme Court on Monday has directed the NTA to release scores on October 16, which is Friday.
The NEET 2020 result will be published along with the official answer keys for all the subjects of NEET -- Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology)

BREAKING: The Supreme Court on Monday directed the National Testing Agency to conduct a re-test for those students who could not take their scheduled exams due to containment zones on October 14. Their results to be declared on October 16.
Important Note : NTA has said that the result will be available on official website ntaneet.nic.in for 90 days after declaration, which implies that if the result is declared today, it will be available on the website till 10 January, 2021.

NEET 2020 Results: Know the counseling process.


For counselling candidates will have to:

Register on the official website mcc.nic.in by filling the required details such as academic results, contact, etc.

Candidates will have to pay non-refundable registration and a refundable tuition fee. The registration fee for the General category is Rs. 1000, while that for SC/ST/OBC, it is Rs. 500.

After this candidates can proceed to select their preferred colleges and course.

These choices will be used for seat allotment depending on the rank, reservation criteria, etc.

After a seat is allotted the candidate will have to report to the college on or before the given date and time

NEET 2020 Results Soon: Here are the steps to check the results



Step 1: Go to the NTA NEET's official website: ntaneet.nic.in


Step 2: Click on the activated link for 'NEET (UG) - 2020 Result' on the homepage.


Step 3: Fill in your NEET application number, date of birth and click on submit.


Step 4: Your result will appear on your screen.


Step 5: Download the soft copy and take a print out for future reference.

Therefore it is now clear that the results will not be declared today. It is expected that the results of those who took the exam on September 13 and those who will take it on October 14 will be declared together on Friday.
