New Delhi: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, MSBSHSE has declared the HSC Class 12th results on June 8, at 1 pm. The girls outperformed the boys, as the overall percentage is 95.35%, meanwhile, boys received an overall percentage of 93.29%. A press conference was held at 11 am ahead of the result links were activated.


Results announced are available on the official website — mahahsscboard.in or mahresult.nic.in


Students can check their results directly on ABP Majha at mh12.abpmajha.com.


94.22% of students have passed the state board exams according to the Minister of School Education Prof. Varsha Eknath Gaikwad. 


The board's chairperson, Sharad Gosavi announced which divisions performed well, at the top was the Konkan division registering the highest pass percentage of 97.21, followed by Nagpur - 96.52 per cent, Amaravati - 96.34 per cent, Latur- 95.25 per cent, Kolhapur- 95.07 per cent, Nashik- 95.03 per cent, Aurangabad- 94.97 per cent, Pune- 93.61 per cent, while the Mumbai division recorded the lowest pass percentage of 90.91.


Meanwhile, the pass percentage subject wise the highest was in the Science stream was 98.30 per cent, in Arts- 90.51 per cent, Commerce-91.71 per cent and in Vocational streams - 92.40 per cent, Gosavi added.

A total of 14,85,191 had registered for the exams this year out of which, the number of girls was 6,68,003 and boys is 8,17,188, students were able to check the results by logging in to the official websites and entering their seat no./roll no. along with their mother's name to open the result's page. Students could also check their results through - mh12.abpmajha.com. 


MSBSHSE HSC theory examinations were held from March 4 to April 7, 2022, before that practical exams were held from February 14 to March 3, 2022. In case a student is unsatisfied with their results they can apply for a re-evaluation after June 10 on the official website- verification.mh-hsc.ac.in using the prescribed format for the application, according to media reports. 


Several media reports have suggested that the Board will release a toppers' list, however, a list hasn't been released yet. 


Prof. Varsha Eknath Gaikwad in a Twitter thread thanked all the teachers who evaluated the papers and parents for supporting the students during the examination. She further said that students who weren't unable to receive the marks they were excepting to not be discouraged and to study for the supplementary examinations. Students who could not obtain passing marks or fail in one or two subjects have to appear in the supplementary exams. The HSC supplementary exam dates will be notified soon.


Since the HSC exams have been announced, the SSC result can be expected soon.
