Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has begun the registration process for admission to Classes 1 to 12 for the academic session 2024-25. The registration process for class 1 has officially started today and will run until 5 pm on April 15. Those seeking admission for Class 2 and above levels will have to apply offline by April 10. According to the schedule, the KVS Class 1 first selection list will be released on April 19. If there are any remaining vacant seats, Sangathan will announce the second provisionally selected students for admission on April 29. The selection will follow the order specified below:


1. RTE
2. Priority Category from Service (I and II) only
3. Shortfall of reservation quota after admission in both of the above criteria.


It's worth noting that the KVS has mandated all newly opened Kendriya Vidyalayas until February 2024 to conduct the KV Class 1 admission 2024 process through the OLA portal, while admission for other classes will be conducted offline only.


KVS Class 1-12 Admission 2024: List Of Important Documents


For KVS Class 1-12 admission 2024, students and guardians must ensure they have the following details and documents prepared before filling out the application form:


1. A valid mobile number with an Indian SIM card.
2. A valid email address.
3. A digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission. The photograph should be in JPEG format and should not exceed 256KB in size.
4. A scanned copy of the child’s birth certificate in either JPEG or PDF format, with a maximum file size of 256KB.
5. An EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate issued by the government authority if applicable.
6. Transfer details of the parent whose service credentials will be used in the application.


KVS Balvatika Admission 2024


Registrations for Balvatika levels 1, 2, and 3 are also started today in schools. It's crucial to consider the age criteria for each level, with children needing to fall between 3 to 6 years old as of March 31, 2024. Additionally, KV admissions strictly adhere to reservation quotas, allocating 15% of seats for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 27% for OBC categories.
