Karnataka SSLC Exams 2021: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has scheduled the  Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination or class 10 board examination to be held in July 2021.

Karnataka SSLC Exams 2021: The Karnataka government on Wednesday released the official Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Karnataka SSLC or class 10 board exam 2021. The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has scheduled the  Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination or class 10 board examination to be held in July 2021.

"Those in charge of the examination centre should follow the SOP," said Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar, as per the PTI report.

According to the SOP, the examination hall including furniture, and toilets should be sanitized daily by spraying disinfectant solution before and after the examination.  In order to maintain the social distancing, only 12 students will be there in a single exam hall, and for each student, a desk will be allotted.

The SOP also directed the students not to gather at any time. For rural areas, SOP suggests that arrangements should be made while ensuring that the examination centres be created in such a way that students need not to go the taluk-level in order to appear for the examination.

Minister S Suresh Kumar said that it is mandatory that teachers, staff, and officials who will be involved in holding the examination should get vaccinated with the cooperation of the district administration. He further said that they need to make sure that they get vaccinated well before the commencement of the examination.

Two rooms at each centre will be reserved for candidates suffering from cough, common cold, and flu. Each centre will ensure the availability of the thermal scanner, pulse oximeter, first aid boxes, and hand sanitizers at the entrance of the centre. Students will be provided with the masks at the entrance of the exam cenres.

Note: Students are advised to keep visiting the official website of the Karnataka board regularly for the latest updates regarding the Karnataka Board examination 2021.
