Karnataka Board Exams 2021: Karnataka Education Minister S Suresh Kumar has announced the postponement of the Karnataka 2nd PUC or class 12 examinations 2021. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in light of the rising number of coronavirus cases.
Students of 1st PUC or class 11 will be promoted to the next class without any examination. Teachers will be working from home in view of the covid-19 pandemic. Teachers will have to remain in touch with their students and also monitor their classes effectively.
Earlier, the Karnataka 2nd PUC practical exams were postponed and were supposed to be conducted after the theory exams. The class 12 theory exams were scheduled to be conducted from May 24 to June 16, 2021.

The fresh schedule for Karnataka 2nd PUC exams will be announced only after the conditions will be conducive to conduct the exams.

Most of the state boards had already either postponed or canceled their board exams in view of the rising number of coronavirus cases. Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have also canceled the class 10th board exams and had postponed the class 12th board exams in light of the pandemic.
