UPSC Civil Services 2020: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the Personality Test for the UPSC civil services examination 2020. The decision has been taken as a precautionary in view of the covid-19 pandemic and a notice regarding this has been uploaded on the commission's official website at upsc.gov.in.
According to the notification, the personality test for the candidates of the UPSC Civil services examination 2020 scheduled to be held from April 26 to June 18, 2021, stands deferred until further notice. "Due to the prevailing conditions caused by the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19), as a precautionary measure, the Union Public Service Commission has deferred the Personality Tests (Interviews) of the candidates of the Civil Services Examination, 2020 scheduled from 26th April, 2021 to 18th June, 2021 till further orders," reads the official notice.

The commission will notify the fresh dates for the UPSC civil services personality test 2020 in a due course of time.
The commission conducts the civil services examination annually in three stages such as preliminary, main, and interview. The examination is held to select the officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and various others posts.
The UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) was conducted on October 4, 2020. The results for the UPSC prelim exams were declared on October 23, 2020. Candidates who were shortlisted in the preliminary exam then appeared for the UPSC Civil Services (Mains) examinations from January 8 to 17, 2021. The results for which were announced on March 23, 2021.
