West Bengal Police Recruitment 2023: The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has notified 1,420 Lady Constable vacancies. Registration process for the posts will begin on April 23, 2023. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply through the official website – wbpolice.gov.in and prb.wb.gov.in until May 22. To be eligible for these positions, a candidate must be at least 18 years old but not exceed 30 years of age as of January 1, 2023. However, reserved category candidates are entitled to relaxation in the upper age limit. Candidates should note that Date of Birth as recorded in Madhyamik or its equivalent admit card/certificate will only be accepted as valid proof for verification of age.

Educational Qualification:
To be eligible for the Lady Constable vacancies, applicants must have passed the Madhyamik examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent, and possess the ability to read, write, and speak in the Bengali language. However, this requirement is not applicable to permanent residents of the hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts.

Selection Process:
The selection process for the Lady Constable vacancies will include a preliminary written exam or screening test, followed by a Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), final written examination, and an interview. Candidates who successfully clear each stage of the selection process will be considered for the final appointment.

- For all categories except Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (of West Bengal only): Rs. 150 (application fee) + Rs. 20 (processing fee) = Rs. 170
