SSC Stenographer Grade C, D Recruitment 2023: Applications Begin On ssc.nic.in - Check Details

Candidates can register for the SSC Stenographer Grade C, D Recruitment 2023 on ssc.nic.in, till August 23, 2023.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC Stenographer C, D Notification today, August 3, 2023, and has also started inviting applications for the recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment process can apply for the SSC Stenographer Grade C, D Recruitment 2023 till August 23, 2023. Online applications for the recruitment are to be submitted in the online mode only on the official SSC website - ssc.nic.in. Following the closure of the application window, candidates will also be able to edit their applications through the ‘application correction window’ scheduled to be open from August 24 to August 25, 2023 (11:00 PM). 

Notably, the SSC is conducting the SSC Stenographer Grade C, D Recruitment 2023 to fill a total of 1,207 vacancies for Stenographer Group C, D posts. The total vacancies include 93 vacancies for Group C and 1,114 Group D vacancies. The SSC will shortlist suitable candidates for the recruitment following a written examination. As per the schedule notified by the commission today, the SSC Stenographer Group C, D Recruitment Exam 2023 will be held in October 2023. 

The SSC is expected to notify the exact date of the exam, soon after the conclusion of the online application process. The SSC Stenographer Grade C, D Recruitment Exam 2023 will be held in the computer-based mode with objective-type questions in the exam paper. Candidates can also opt for taking the exam in Hindi or English. 

Candidates who have completed their Class 12 from a recognized board or university are eligible to apply for the recruitment. Moreover, interested candidates must be aged between 18 to 30 years, to apply for the SSC Stenographer Group C, D Recruitment 2023. While applying for the recruitment though, candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 100, while women, SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
