A groundbreaking decision has been made by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to allow the Constable (General Duty) exam for CAPFs to be conducted in 13 regional languages in addition to Hindi and English. This landmark decision has been taken on the initiative of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to promote the participation of local youth in CAPF and encourage the use of regional languages. The exam question paper for Constable (General Duty) will now be available in 13 regional languages including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Urdu, Punjabi, Manipuri, and Konkani in addition to Hindi and English.

This decision will provide an opportunity for lakhs of aspirants to take the examination in their mother tongue or regional language, thereby improving their chances of selection. Constable GD is one of the flagship examinations conducted by the Staff Selection Commission and attracts lakhs of candidates from all over the country.

The examination in the 13 regional languages, in addition to Hindi and English, will begin on January 01, 2024, and is expected to further increase the participation of candidates from different regions and linguistic backgrounds.


To promote the use and development of regional languages, it is expected that state and union territory governments will launch extensive campaigns encouraging local youths to take advantage of this opportunity and participate in the examination in their mother tongue.

SSC GD PET Admit Card 2023 Soon


The Staff Selection Commission is expected to release the admit card for SSC GD Constable PET/PST 2023 soon. It is important for candidates to note that the PET and PST will be conducted by the Central Reserve Police Force. The admit card for this stage of the examination will be available on the CRPF's official website at rect.crpf.gov.in. 


SSC GD CBT result was announced on April 08, 2023. SSC GD Constable Exam, which took place between January 10 and February 13, 2023, saw the participation of around 30,41,284 applicants. Of those, 3,70,657 candidates were chosen for the next stage of the recruitment process, PET/PST, with 43,434 of them being female and 3,27,223 being male candidates.
