Southern Railway Recruitment 2021: The last date for the online application for a total of 3,378 apprentice posts is 30th June 2021.

Southern Railway Recruitment 2021: The online application process for the recruitment of the 3,378 apprentice posts in Southern Railway will end on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. If you have not applied yet, apply soon. Recently, Southern Railway had issued a notification for these posts and invited applications. Thousands of candidates have submitted their applications online so far. After the completion of the application process, the date of the recruitment examination will be announced by Railways. 

Recruitment will be done for the following posts 
This recruitment drive will help select candidates for apprentice posts at several railway workshops. This includes 936 vacancies in Carriage Works, Perambur, 756 vacancies in GoldenRock Workshop, and 1,686 vacancies in Signal and Telecom Workshop Podanur. The total number of apprentice posts is 3,378. 

Qualification and age limit 
According to the Railways, 10th, 12th, and ITI-passed youngsters can apply for these posts. The age limit is 15 to 22 years and for some posts, it is 15 to 24 years. How much is the application fee?
The application fee for the General and OBC category candidates is Rs. 100. The application is free of cost for SC, ST, specially-abled, and female candidates.  

How will the candidates be selected?
According to the Railways notification, the examination will be conducted after the completion of the application process. Those who will qualify in the exam will be called for document verification. After the completion of the document verification process, the final selection will be done.
