RRC ER Apprentice Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway (ER), has released its notification for the recruitment of 3,115 Apprentice positions. The online application window for the RRC ER Apprentice Vacancy 2024 will be open from September 24 to October 23, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply via the official RRC ER website at rrcer.org. This recruitment drive seeks to fill various apprentice roles across Eastern Railway zones, offering a stipend of approximately Rs. 10,000 per month.

RRC ER Apprentice Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent under the 10+2 examination system with at least 50% marks from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates should hold a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

RRC ER Apprentice Age Limit

As per the cut-off date in the official notification, candidates must be between 15 to 24 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from SC/ST, OBC, and PWD categories in line with government norms.

The age limit relaxation for various categories is as follows:

SC/ST – 5 years

OBC – 3 years

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) – 10 years

RRC ER Apprentice Selection Procedure

The selection process for the RRC ER Apprentice Recruitment 2024 is based on the merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the 10th class examination and ITI in the respective trade. There is no written test or interview.
