The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has officially begun the recruitment process for 30 vacant positions of Project Manager and equivalent posts under the Jharkhand Industry Service Cadre. These appointments will be made in the state’s Industry Department through direct recruitment.

Key Dates to Remember


The online application window will open on June 20, and interested candidates can submit their forms until July 10. The deadline to pay the examination fee is July 11, and applicants must ensure that a hard copy of their application reaches the JPSC office by July 23.


Who Can Apply?


Aspiring candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology to be eligible for the role. However, graduates in disciplines such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Science, Commerce, Cost Accountancy, Sericulture, Food Technology, or Management are also qualified to apply.


Selection Process


The recruitment process comprises a written examination followed by an interview. The written exam will consist of four papers:


Paper 1: General Hindi (100 marks)


Paper 2: General English (100 marks) Candidates must score at least 30% in both language papers. However, marks from these papers will not be counted toward the final merit list.


Paper 3: General Studies (200 marks)


Paper 4: Industrial Development, Labour Laws, and Related Regulations (300 marks)


Candidates who clear the written test will be called for a personal interview, carrying a weightage of 100 marks.
