IT Jobs: Technology transformation has become a major priority for companies across India, so hiring data shows that job opportunities for IT professionals have increased by nearly 400%. According to a report, the demand for talent with niche and super niche skills is witnessing a boom mainly due to pressure from the BFSI industry.
Technical Skills with talent demand increased in the last quarter
According to data from business solutions provider Ques, demand for talent with other technical skills including cloud infrastructure tech developer, full stack developer, react JS developer, Android developer and anguler JS developer has seen an increase from the previous quarter.
In addition to listed top skills, gaming (unity developers), devops (bamboo, cumin) and platforms (salesforce, SAP HANA) have also seen a speediness in skill demand.
In Hiring Activity, IT Hub Bangalore and Hyderabad is on top
Hiring activity across India has been mainly dominated by IT hubs Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune, followed by Chennai, Mumbai, NCR and other major cities.
Bengaluru saw the highest demand (40%), followed by Hyderabad (18%) and Pune (18%). Skill Wise Break-up showed that Bengaluru has indicated the high demand of cloud tech developers (41%), React JS developers (44%) and Android developers (81%).
For full stack developers, Bangalore (42%) and Hyderabad (37%) while Anguler JS developers saw almost the same demand in Hyderabad (25%), Bengaluru (21%), Gurugram (21%), Chennai (16%) and Pune (13%).

The data for the report is drawn from algorithms built into the company's app tracking system, which maps and matches candidates over the October-March 2020-2021 period compared to March-August 2021.
