India Post GDS Recruitment 2021: India Post had begun the process of online application by taking out the recruitment on 4845 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Candidates who have passed high school can apply for these posts. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit.
The recruitment is being conducted to fill 4264 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks in Uttar Pradesh and 581 posts in Uttarakhand. The total number of GDS posts in these two states is 4845. Candidates are advised to go through the official notification to know more details about the category wise vacancy.
The application process for India Post GDS Recruitment 2021 had started on August 23, 2021. Eligible candidates can apply online till September 22, 2021. The last date to submit the online application fee is September 22, 2021.
Candidates applying for the post should have passed high school from any recognized board. The candidates must have English and Mathematics as subjects in high school. The minimum age of the applicants should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 40 years. Reserved category candidates will get the age relaxation as per rules and regulations.
Candidates belonging to the General and OBC category will have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. The SC, ST, Divyang and women of all categories are exempted from the payment of the registration fee. The application fee can be deposited through e-challan at the nearest post office.
