The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has cancelled the Bihar Police Constable Exam, initially scheduled for two shifts on October 1, 2023, due to a paper leak. During the examination, certain candidates were apprehended cheating through the use of electronic devices and other fraudulent methods. As per the official notification, the forthcoming Bihar Constable recruitment 2023 exams, initially slated for October 7 and 15, have been postponed until further notice. The Bihar police constable written question paper carries 100 marks. The exam consists of 6 topics - English, Hindi, mathematics, science, social science and general knowledge.


This recruitment drive aimed to fill 21,391 vacancies for various Police Constable positions. To facilitate the recruitment exams, the board had established 529 examination centers across 37 districts in Bihar.
