New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday declared the result of JEE Main 2021 July examination which was conducted on July 20, 22, 25, and 27.


A total of 7.09 lakh candidates had registered to appear in the July session of JEE Main exam which was held across 334 cities and 828 centres in India.

Candidates need to fill in details such as Examination Session, Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin to be able to view their NTA score.

As revealed by the NTA, 17 candidates have scored a perfect 100 percentile in the third session.


NTA score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained. The NTA scores are normalised marks across multi-session papers and are based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the exam in one session.


The marks are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session. 


The examination was conducted for the second time in 13 vernacular languages (English, Hindi, Gujarati along with Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).

Previously, it was decided that the JEE exam will now be conducted four times a year to provide more flexibility to students along with an increased chance to improve their scores.


The first phase was conducted in February followed by the second and third phase in March and July, the final phase will be held this month.


6,19,638 lakh candidates registered for the March session examination held in six slots, NTA data revealed.


The result of the first session, which was held in February, was released on March 8 by NTA wherein six candidates scored a perfect 100 percentile.


The candidates will be able to secure admissions in Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs) on the basis of the JEE Main result.
