A total of 9,35,741 candidates had registered for the second attempt of JEE Main 2019 for engineering admissions. The number of registrants were slightly higher than 9,29,198 registered candidates for JEE Main January 2019 first attempt exam. On the other hand, the number of architecture registrations went down to 1,69,767 for April 2019 exam, from 1,80,052 for JEE Main January 2019 exam.
Candidates must note that the online application window for JEE Advanced 2019 will be hosted from 3 rd May 2019 to 9th May 2019 for the top 2,24,000 rankers of JEE Main 2019. Thereby, NTA is expected to shortly release the final ranks based on the scores (better score of candidates who had appeared for both) of JEE Main January and April 2019 exams. JEE Advanced 2019 is slated to be held on 27th May 2019, next month, for IIT aspirants.
