JEE Advanced 2019 Exam Date – Sunday, 19th May 2019, has been announced by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) on the official website of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2019 – jeeadv.ac.in. ‘The JEE (Advanced) 2019 will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019. The entire JEE (Advanced) 2019 Examination will be conducted in fully computer based test mode,’ read the latest update released by the IITs on the aforementioned website.

Qualifying JEE Advanced 2019 exam will open gateways of the IITs for the crème de la crème of engineering aspirants who could enrol in various programmes at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) including 4-year Bachelors viz BTech, BS; 5-year B.Arch; 5-year Dual Degree viz B.Tech-M.Tech, B.S-M.S; or 5-year  Integrated Masters viz M.Tech, M.Sc Dual Degree.

JEE Advanced 2019 Exam Schedule:

Sunday, 19th May 2019

Paper – 1: 9am to 12noon IST

Paper – 2: 2pm to 5pm IST

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2019:

1. As per the official JEE Advanced 2019 notification, approximately 2,24,000 candidates will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2019 examination on the basis of their JEE Main 2019 Paper-I Ranks.

2. The applicant must not have appeared for JEE Advanced 2017 or earlier.

3. The applicant must have appeared for his/her Class 12th Board Examination for the first time in the year 2018 or 2019.

4. The applicant must not have accepted admission at any IIT earlier.

Academic Qualification:

The applicant must have scored minimum 75% aggregate marks in Class 12th (or equivalent examination), 65% for SC, ST, PwD candidates.

Or

The applicant must have made it to the category-wise Top 20 percentile of successful candidates in the respective Class 12th board examination.

Age-Limit:

The applicant must be born on or after 1st October 1994. Five years of age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories.
