Jamia Milia Entrance Test 2024 Rescheduled Due To Lok Sabha Elections

As per the revised schedule, the Jamia Millia Entrance Test for jMI Admissions 2024 will be held on June 9, 10, and 11, 2024.

The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University has postponed its entrance examinations for the upcoming academic session. As per the revised schedule, the Jamia Millia Islamia University will now conduct the entrance examinations for JMI Admissions 2024 on June 9, 10, and 11, 2024. One of India’s leading central universities, the JMI will be conducting entrance tests for shortlisting suitable candidates for admissions into its various PG programmes like MA, MCA, B.Ed, and MBA. 

The university notified the rescheduling of the JMI Entrance Exams 2024 Dates through an official notice on its website. Candidates who will be appearing for the JMI Entrance Exams 2024 can also check the notice on the official website. As per the previous schedule, the exams were scheduled to be held on May 24, 25, and 26. However, in the wake of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the varsity administration has now postponed the exams. 

“Due to the announcement of dates of Lok Sabha Election 2024 by the Chief Election Commissioner of India, the following Entrance Test of the University has been rescheduled,” reads the official notice in this regard. Candidates may note that as per the revised schedule, the JMI Entrance Exams 2024 will be held in three shifts across multiple shifts.

Notably, the Jamia millia Islamia University offers admissions to some of its PG programmes through the CUET (central Universities Entrance Test) PG Exam, while admissions to some of its PG and UG courses are done on the basis of its own entrance exam as well. 

The PG programmes for which the university will conduct the entrance exam in June 2024 include: MA (Arabic), MA (Applied Psychology), MA (Economics), Diploma in Engineering, MBA, MBA (IB), MBA (Entrepreneurship and Family Business), B.Ed, MA (Human Resource Management), MA (English), MA (Social Work), MA (History), MCA, and B.Sc Aeronautics (Mechanical/Avionics).
