Attention candidates! The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will close the registration window for IGNOU January 2024 Admissions Cycle today. Today, March 10, is the last date to register for admissions with a late fee. Interested candidates who wish to take admission in various programmes offered by the IGNOU but are yet to register themselves can submit their registration cum application forms on the official website - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, at the earliest. 


Candidates may note that they will be required to pay a late fee of Rs 200 along with the regular application/ programme fee, while applying for JNU January 2024 Admissions. Candidates may note that at the time of registering for IGNOU January 2024  Admissions, they will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee alongside the programme fee for the first year/ semester for the specific programme they wish to seek admission in. 


Furthermore, the request for refund of registration fee for those candidates who wish to withdraw or cancel their registrations/ admissions, shall be processed as per university policies. For more details on IGNOU July 2023 Admission and registrations, interested candidates are advised to visit the official website. 


“A non-refundable Registration Fee shall be charged along with the programme fee of first semester/year at the time of admission. If a student applies for cancellation of application/admission and refund of fee, the refund request will be considered as per the University policy,” reads a notice on the official website in this regard. Before applying for IGNOU Admissions though, candidates are advised to carefully read all essential instructions available on the official website.

  • On the homepage, register as a new user 

  • Login to the portal again and fill in the application form with all required details

  • Pay the application fee online and submit the form

  • Download the application confirmation page for future reference
