In an official notice, released by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE Board), the Board is also registering students for the subjects which were cancelled owing to the COVID-19 pandemic for the Compartmental and Improvement Exams. So, if students were not satisfied with the scores were given to them through internal assessment can appear for the compartment/improvement exam. CISCE had declared the ICSE (Class 10th) and ISC (Class 12th) board examinations results on July 10 on its websites cisce.org and results.cisce.org.
Students who are interested in appearing for the exam will have to contact their school and register before September 22nd, 2020.
According to media reports, the pass percentage of ICSE board exam 2020 was recorded at 99.33 percent, while 96.84 percent of students qualified the ISC board exam 2020.
About 2.5 lakh students had appeared for the ICSE and ISC examinations in 2020. Though the exams started around their usual time in February, it was disrupted owing to the Coronavirus outbreak and school and colleges were forced to shut down. After postponing the exams for a while, the council decided to cancel the remaining exams and give scores based on internal assessment.
