Himachal Pradesh School Reopen: Himachal Pradesh government has allowed schools to be re-opened for classes 10, 11, and 12 students from August 2, 2021, onwards, in adherence to the coronavirus protocols. The decision has been taken in view of the decline in the covid-19 cases across the state.

As per the news agency ANI, students of classes 5 and 8 will be allowed to come to the schools for clearing their doubts. "Himachal Pradesh Govt permits to reopen schools including residential/partially residential schools for Classes 10, 11, and 12 from August 2, adhering to COVID appropriate behavior Students of Class 5 & Class 8 to be allowed to visit schools for doubt clearance," tweeted ANI.

The state government has also decided to allow the coaching, tuition, and other educational training institutes to re-open from Monday, July 26, 2021, onwards. The institutes have been directed to strictly follow the standards of procedure (SOPs) in view of the covid-19 pandemic.

Earlier this year, many schools and colleges were re-opened for in-person classes, however, later after the outbreak of the second covid-19 wave, all the educational institutes across the state were decided to be closed in view of the health and safety of students and faculty.

Students and faculty are advised to get vaccinated, as it is expected to become a mandatory protocol to attend in-person classes.

Meantime, various states including Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, and many others have also decided to re-open schools for class 11 and 12 students.

Schools across the country were closed after the nationwide lockdown on March 24 last year in view of the covid-19 pandemic. Although offline classes resumed from October last year, schools were once again forced to close after the deadly second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in India that led to the death of the students.
