GATE 2019 exam schedule: IIT Madras has released the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2019 exam schedule on the official website gate.iitm.ac.in. As per the schedule, the online entrance examination will be conducted in two sessions per day on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2019 for the candidates who want to get admissions for M.Tech courses or want to get selected for PSU recruitment. The first session will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second session will be from 2:30 AM to 05:30 PM. Further, the GATE 2019 admit cards will be released on January 4 and the result will be out on March 16.

It is a 3-hour long online examination which consists of General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics (for XL papers it is Chemistry) and subject-specific questions. According to the subject selected by the candidates, the questions will be set by the authorities.

The GATE 2019 Admit Card to the provisionally selected candidates will be available from January 04, 2019. The Admit Card is the only document that can be used to enter the examination hall. The Admit Card, however, is to be accompanied by a valid photo id proof like PAN Card, Voter’s ID Card, Passport, Aadhaar card, College Id, Employee Id, Driving License etc.
