This will have an impact on college admission especially cut-offs. Reports say that Delhi University may see higher cut-offs this year.
"The next step for students will be to update marks. There is an increase in students scoring above 95 percent and 90 percent marks, and we will see which streams they are from and how that will impact the cut-offs,” said Shobha Bagai, dean (admissions) of Delhi University in a report by PTI.
She added, “Once we get the data on the portal, only then analysis can happen. We have been waiting for the revised academic calendar from the UGC," she said. "For us, it will make a difference, especially for science courses since NEET and JEE exams are scheduled in September."

The cut-offs last year too was high and in many colleges first, cut-offs were almost near 98 percent such as Hindu College where cut off for Physics honours in 2019 was 98.3 percent and DCAC had 98.50 percent for BA (Honours) in Journalism.
The registration process for Delhi University is already underway and will continue till July 18.
