Students have performed better this year as compared to previous year.
The overall pass percentage has increased from 5.38 per cent since 2019. Around 18 lakh students have appeared for Class 10th and 12th examinations including transgender students.
Region wise pass percentage:
The passing percentage of students in Trivandrum is 97.67 per cent while Patna recorded the lowest percentage at 74.57 per cent.
The region-wise analysis show students in states including Trivandrum, Bengaluru, Chennai fared well compared to the northern regions. In Delhi West, the passing percentage comes to 94.61 per cent while Delhi East it is 94.24 per cent.
Students who appeared for the exams amid the Covid-19 pandemic at the time when the disease started to raise its ugly head in the country proved to be a testing period.
Girls outshine boys:
Amid all the chaos girls have done better than boys by 5.96 per cent since last year. Around 92.15 per cent girl students passed the examination compared to 86.19 per cent.
Institution wise comparison of results: 98.70% of students from JNV has aced the exams while 98.62 % students from KV have been successful.
Transgender performance: 66.67% of transgender students to had appeared for the exams have qualified the tests.
Students who scored above 90%: As many as 243 students scored above 90% in CBSE class 12th examination, while 42 students scored more than 95%.
