New Delhi: Delhi University Admission began today, due to the ongoing pandemic, the University has decided to conduct the admission process completely online. Students who are applying to colleges in Delhi University are asked not to visit colleges for any reason at all as the admission process is completely online owing to the ongoing pandemic.

On Saturday the first cut-off was announced and Lady Shri Ram College has pegged a 100 percent cut off for three courses.

According to a PTI report, Shobha Bagai, dean (admissions), said the admission process started at 10 am. To assist the students during the admission process, she said there are admission branch officials, grievance redressal officials, and nodal officers for each college.

Here’s a list of documents you will require along with the application form:
1. Class 12th or qualifying examination mark sheet and passing certificate.
2. Class 10th mark sheet and passing certificate as proof of age.
3. Caste Certificate/ EWS Certificate (as applicable).
4. Transfer certificate from the school.
5. Migration certificate from the board.
6. Character certificate.
7. OMR form - University registration.
8. Receipt of Fee Payment.

According to the PTI report, Lady Shri Ram College for Women has pegged 100 percent cut off for BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) Political Science, and BA (Hons) Psychology under the general category. Over 3.54 applicants had applied to the university for gaining admission to nearly 70,000 seats available in DU.
