A meeting was held today wherein principals of Private Schools met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the issue was raised there. On this, Chief Minister Kejriwal assured to the nursery admission process will begin soon.
As a government, it is our responsibility that students and parents do not have to face any injustice. Private schools are allowed to operate and we consider them as our partner, the Delhi CM is reported to have said.
As students had to return to school, the parents were quite worried. The reopening of schools did not go well in several countries. No parent wants their child to contract Covid. Now that there is a vaccine, school teaching for a few classes has been resumed, he added.
There was a demand to open nursery admission, the process to begin nursery admission will be taken up immediately. There was a delay because of the Covid crisis but now the process of nursery admission will be taken up, Kejriwal assured.
The details in terms of the process will begin and what changes will be made if there are any, are being awaited.
