Delhi School Admission 2021: The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi on Monday directed all the schools under the management of the DoE not to deny admission to candidates who have filed details of even one of the parents in the application form. A notice regarding this decision has been released by the directorate.

The cycle-1 of the online registration process for the candidates seeking admission for classes 6 to 9 at various Delhi schools began on June 11, 2021. Candidates who wish to apply for Delhi school admission can do so by visiting the official website of the school on or before June 30, 2021. The directorate will conduct the registration process for cycle -2  from July 23 to August 6, 2021.

"Parents of the children seeking admission in Govt. Schools have to register the details of their children online as per the above schedule. The Link for submission of the online registration form is available on the Home page of the Department's website www.edudel.nic.in under the link "Govt. Earlier, both parents had to fill in the details in the admission form of their children. However, after the new direction from the directorate, it will not be a mandatory exercise anymore. Even with the information about one parent, students will able to seek admission to various Delhi schools.
