New Delhi: Students await clarity on upcoming board and competitive exams.  The Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will now hold another webinar with teachers on December 17th, 2020 at 4 PM, on his Twitter and Facebook page. The live webinar with teachers will address the concerns about the upcoming CBSE and other board exams, and seek their suggestions on it. Teachers can share their queries, concerns, and suggestions on Twitter and Facebook by using #EducationMinisterGoesLive.

Exam Dates

On December 10, 2020, Pokhriyal had held a live session to answer concerns of students and parents. Although the dates were not announced during the webinar, Pokhriyal said that the board exams will be held, and if the situation does not improve in the near future, then students will be allowed more time.

Regarding JEE exams he said that they are looking into suggestions to increase the number of attempts for the exams. For the question on the mode of NEET exams he said that they are the 'best possible solution will be developed but NEET will be held offline due to the requirement of the exams. He said that NEET exams will not be cancelled.

The board recently stated that no final decision regarding dates of examination and other details has been taken so far. "No final decision has been taken regarding the dates for the conduct of board exams, and consultations with stakeholders are still in process. The exams, as and when they are conducted, will be in the written mode and not in an online mode. The exams will be conducted following all Covid protocols," said a senior CBSE official said.
