CBSE Exam 2019: CBSE has released a notice pertaining to posts circulating on WhatsApp aimed at spreading false information of reconduct of Physics and Economics Papers of Class XII Board Exams 2019. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) called the news of re-conduct of Physics and Economics of Class XII as ‘Fake’.

As per CBSE, the date of information of news on reconduct of Physics and Economics Papers is marked as 28th March 2019 which was signed by former Controller of Examinations, CBSE – Mr. K K Choudhury in the fake post.



The country’s largest education board condemned the fake news and suggested general public and all stakeholders to not pay heed to such rumours so as to facilitate the Board in smooth and fair conduct of CBSE Board Examinations 2019.

CBSE Class XII Board Exams 2019 commenced in February 2019, earlier this year, and the papers for Physics and Economics were conducted on 5th and 27th March 2019, respectively. While Economics paper was an average exam, the physics paper comprised of tricky questions based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The questions set in the CBSE Class 12th Physics Paper 2019 were indirect and mostly application based.

The fake news circulating on the WhatsApp messenger service, could be in the view of creating chaos amongst students and parents by taking advantage of the difficult Physics paper this year.
