The board has also issued SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) for conducting the examination.
- The board has said that different dates will be sent to schools for practical examinations.
- An Observer will be appointed on behalf of the Board which will supervise the practical exam and project evaluation.
- Practical examination will have both internal and external examiners as in previous years.
- It will be the responsibility of the schools to conduct practical examinations only by the external examiner appointed by the CBSE board.
- After the assessment is over, schools will have to upload marks on the link provided by the board.
- Practical exam and project evaluation work will be conducted in the respective schools.
Schools will have to put a photo of the practical exam on the app
All schools will be provided with an app link on which they will have to upload a group photo of every batch of students during the practical exam. The group photo will have all the students of the practical giving batch, external examiner, internal examiner, and observer. Everyone’s face should be visible in the photo.

CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi on Friday said that there will be board exams for class 10 and class 12 and schedules for them are expected to be announced soon. CBSE is planning for this and soon it will be revealed how the exam will be evaluated. This statement of Tripathi came amidst various organizations demanding cancellation or postponement of board examinations in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19.
