CBSE Class 12 Evaluation 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is working on forming an objective criterion based on which the students of the CBSE class 12 board will be evaluated.

"We're in the process of structuring the criteria for Class 12 evaluation. We will put it in the public domain once it is completed. Parents, teachers, principals, and students need to wait for it a bit. Also, request all not to panic," CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi said on Wednesday.

On June 1, the CBSE decided to cancel the CBSE class 12 board examination in view of the covid-19 pandemic. The decision came after the high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the class 12 board examination was held on Tuesday evening. PM Modi directed the board officials to come up with the objection criterion to prepare the results of the CBSE class 12 students in a "fair and time-bound manner."

After the meeting, PM Modi on his official Twitter handle wrote, "Government of India has decided to cancel the Class 12 CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth."

Students who will not be satisfied with their class 12 marks will be provided an opportunity to appear for the examination only after the conditions will become conducive to hold the examinations, a government statement post the meeting said.
