CBSE Class 12 Exam Cancellation: The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will be conducting a meeting regarding the cancellation of the CBSE class 12 board exams among various other issues on Monday, May 17, 2021.
The minister will be interacting with all state education secretaries and it is expected that he might be taking a final decision on canceling the CBSE class 12 board examination today. However, ABP News doesn't have any official confirmation regarding this. During the meeting, the minister will be reviewing the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the education sector and will conduct a discussion regarding the implementation of the New National Education Policy along with the future of online education.
“Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will meet virtually all state education secretaries on Monday. The top agenda of the meeting will be COVID -19 pandemic and its impact on education, promotion of online education, implementation of the New Education policy, and preparation made by states,” Education ministry sources were quoted by ANI in its report.
Earlier, in wake of the covid-19 pandemic, the board had cancelled the class 10 board examination to be held from May 4 to June 7, 2021. The board will declare the results of the CBSE class 10 board examination on June 20, 2021. The results will be prepared based on the objective criteria set by the board. However, if any candidate is not satisfied with their results will be given an opportunity to appear for the written examination which will be held only after the conditions are conducive.
