New Delhi: CBSE is expected to announce the dates for Class 10 and Class 12 results anytime soon. CBSE had announced that it will provide digitally-signed copies of the marksheets so that they can be used for submission during the admission process in colleges and universities.

This method has been chosen as due to the Covid-19 situation in the country, distributing physical copies of marksheets through schools, remains inconvenient.

What is UMANG?

UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is an e-governance platform that is developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and National e-Governance Division (NeGD) to drive Mobile Governance in India.

It aims to take the government and state government services to the people. It also serves as a portal for providing information about government schemes while integrating several services like AADHAAR and DigiLocker.

How To Access UMANG?

The UMANG app is available on Google's Play Store and the Apple Store, while the website is also easily accessible for those who are more comfortable with the latter.

So you can avail all information on the service through both the website on desktop, mobile application and/or join the SMS service as well.

How Can Marksheet Be Downloaded?

  1. Create an account and log in.

  2. Click on the tab provided for Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets.

  3. Fill your credentials: Admit Card ID, Roll Number, and Date Of Birth.

  4. The Marksheet will appear, download the digital copy.


Certain dates that had been circulated regarding the announcement of Class 10 and 12 results have been refuted by the CBSE and an official announcement regarding the same is being awaited.
